NATO IS IN A MESS - WHAT IS GOING ON?
Western leaders continue to mull over what to do with the Middle Eastern refugee problem and Radical Islamic threat. Meanwhile, they are distracted by increased tensions between Europe and Russia. NATO continues to forge ahead acting on orders as sanctioned by its member states. However, to an outside observer, it seems that NATO is operationally disjointed, its overall effectiveness low when compared to its theoretical military capability.
SPEAROFATHENA provides some samples of the political disparity across the NATO member states that are handicapping its effectiveness:
International conventional and internet news agencies report the individual events, but are biased based on their political affiliations. However, they do not seem to provide users with coherent picture of what is going on. Added to the confusion are the numbers of varying opinions on every story posted by the mass public users.
Western leaders need to examine these individually complex problems from a broader perspective. They also need to cooperate so a Middle East refugee control and Radical Islamic defeat plan can be developed and implemented.
