IMMIGRATION BAN EXEC ORDER APPEAL
POLL: WILL THE 9th CIRCUIT APPEALS COURT BACK TRUMP ?

Federal District Judges are made judges because they are supposedly impartial and dedicated to interpreting the law to ensure it remains in accordance with the US Constitution. We believe that it is not the job of judges to introduce their own laws or personal subjective beliefs of what the law should be. A Seattle Federal Judge's temporary restraining order on (halt to) POTUS Trump's Immigration Ban Executive Order seems to have thrown those principles out the window. However, on the positive side, a Mass. Federal Judge declined a petition to extend the restraining order.
The NYT reported that POTUS regards the whole process as "disgraceful". We are astounded that a District Court has defied the POTUS and wonder how the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals will rule on the Justice Department's appeal to remove the restraining order. What do you think?
It turns out our faith in the impartiality of judges has not been well founded. 73% of our voters found that out too. Hopefully we will see a stronger counter-attack from the Justice Department once the Trump Administration has a chance to review its options!
